Changes, New Chapters, & Life Lately
I love words. I know this statement sounds so silly and simplistic, but it’s true, I love words. I love reading, writing, and speaking them; stringing them along together to communicate, convey emotion and to imbue knowledge. This love of words is what makes it so wonderful to be able to present and speak in front of people, it is what allowed me to write exceptional research papers, and now finally to take a more relaxed approach and write this blog. Yet on this front I have been very quiet; many of you know the challenges I have gone through in the last year and the huge life events that have happened are going to happen. I found myself hesitant to write on my blog because I felt anxiety when looking at past posts and seeing the time they were written and the struggles I was going through behind the scenes.
This post marks casting off that fear and fully embracing the new chapter of my life. I recently graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelors of Business Administration, enrolled in a post graduate diploma program in Public Relations at the University of Victoria, moved to Calgary, and started a new job at a lighting agency in Inglewood. Life has been filled with so many changes and I want to share that with all of you! I reside in a gorgeous condo situated right in downtown Calgary, so I am in the thick of so much of the excitement that this city has to offer.
I am thrilled to be able to curate new content pertaining to restaurant reviews, festivals, recipes, outfit posts, décor posts and so much more! I feel energized and excited about the direction my life is taking, I finally feel like I have cast off the dark shadow that loomed over me for the past year and embrace living again. Thank you for giving me an outlet for my creativity but also for being a support system; words cannot express my gratitude.
