Review: Lululemon Jet Crop Slim
I am a huge fan of clothing that can transition from gym to work to casual wear, and Lululemon consistently fulfills this task for me (note: I currently work in a recreation facility so that helps). For workout wear I usually gravitate towards leggings, but I have been looking for a looser fitting pant that still works at the gym. Enter the Jet Crop Slim pant; these pants are made out of the Lululemon Luxtreme fabric. Luxtreme is the only fabric from Lululemon that I will look at when it comes to pants. It provides compression in all the right places and does not wear easily like the Luon fabric.
I wanted to try these pants in every different situation that I would be wearing them before I wrote a review. So I have worn them running, doing yoga, weight lifting, to work and then just in my day to day life. I have paired these pants with a simple tee shirt tucked in and moto jacket for work and yes, while this may be a bit basic I was comfortable and my boss said I looked great (and she is super chic so I'm cool with that!). The other nice thing about these pants is they generally go well with a multitude of different shoes; I wore them with my Birkenstocks to work but later I put on some red lipstick and a casual heel and they looked pretty great.
When working out they required little to no adjusting (sometimes with leggings I have to pull them up and adjust them), and the pockets held my keys and iPod well. These pants have a lot of stretch to them but I did not find that they became to baggy, they have held their shape perfectly.
hese pants transition incredibly well and have exceeded my already high expectations! They come in five different colours, I chose to purchase the black because it is a nice basic to have but the heathered battleship is also beautiful. The price is $98 CAD and I can justify that because these pants transition so well and I foresee that I will get a lot of wear out of them. So overall I would give these pants a purchase!
